Toy Cap Guns

Like many other boys, Roy Rodgers, Gene Autrey, and the Lone Ranger were my heroes. The Saturday afternoon movie feature westerns and playing cowboys and Indians was my favorite game.

Cap guns were much a part of the excitment. Years later, in the early 80's as an antique show manager and dealer, I noticedcast iron caps and began to collect them. The cap guns you will find on this website are the cap guns that were gathered and they are now offered to you.

Charles Best was my authority and I purchased an autographed copy of the first authoritative book on the subject.
